South Teton Summit
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, 2014
Eleven years ago, my good friend Jaxon took me up to the summit of Middle Teton, but before I could even get my camera from my pack, thick clouds rolled over us, obscuring everything farther than five feet in front of us. Ever since then, I've wanted to get back. During the third week of September, I managed to do just that, but before getting to the top of Middle, I decided to go up South Teton first. In this view, Middle Teton sits directly in front of my feet while Grand Teton seems to look over Middle's shoulder. Photo © copyright by Greg Owens.
