Glacier Run
Cordillera Vilcabamba, Peru
Two of our Alpaca Expeditions porters were on their first seven-day Salkantay trek. Especially during the first 3.5 days, when the horses were doing all the carrying, the porters seemed to be having at least as much fun as we were. Here, they have nearly flown down from Inka Chiriaska Pass (~16,900') and taken the scenic route across the glacier toward the valley below. Can you spot them? Photo © copyright by Greg Owens.
