Ducks, Iceberg Lake

Glacier National Park, Montana, 2000

Iceberg Lake is so named because of the large chunks of ice that persist in the lake often through the end of summer.  I made this image on Fujichrome Velvia slidefilm during my first visit to the lake in August 2000.  It was also on this hike that I saw my first grizzly, making it one of my all-time favorite days.
